Plot/Synopsis:

Near the Bosporus, Eyüp and Hacer live in a modest flat with their son Ismail, in his twenties, who’s doing poorly in his studies. Few words pass between them, and a past family tragedy brings sorrow daily. On a rainy night, Eyüp’s boss Servet, a wealthy businessman who’s entering politics, hits a pedestrian on a lonely road. He drives off and offers money to Eyüp if Eyüp will take the fall – probably a six-month sentence. Eyüp agrees, and while he’s in prison, Ismail wants his mother to ask Servet for enough money to buy a car. Servet, in turn, desires Hacer. How can this play out?

Plot/Synopsis:

Nefes is first of its kind in Turkey. Through the eyes of a small brigade of soldiers stationed at the border, the film examines the armed conflict that has been going on for more than 30 years in south-eastern Turkey.

Set on the high mountains of southern Turkey, the landscape provides a stunning and poetic backdrop. The seclusion, hardship and the tragedy these people had to endure is central to the story.

The film has its minor flaws but nevertheless it is effective in putting the audience in the shoes of these soldiers. And it is specifically significant to the Turkish citizens; for they will have a chance to truly empathize with those who rendered services in the region.

Plot/Synopsis:

A Turkish special agent vows revenge against the evil American CIA agent who masterminded the humiliating raid on an undercover Turkish unit aiding the War on Terror in director Serdar Akar’s controversial action film. It was July 4, 2003 when U.S. forces surrounded the headquarters of a clandestine Turkish unit operating in the northern Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah and humiliated their partners in the War on Terror by marching out the agents with hoods over their heads before inexplicably deporting their mortified allies. Soon after detailing the harrowing event in a letter to his friend Polat, disgraced Turkish officer Suleyman Aslan shamefully ends his own life with one fatal shot to the head.
Now determined to make the man responsible for the raid pay for his overzealous transgression, Polat rounds up loyal pals Memati and Abdulhey for a revenge mission that will take them across the border of Kurdistan and directly into the dark heart of the War on Terror.

Upon arriving in Iraq to target secret CIA unit head Sam William Marshall, Polat and friends watch horrified as the Christian fanatic raids a local wedding party where both the groom and a young boy are carelessly gunned down on little more than a hunch that terrorists may be seeking anonymity within the crowd. Though she is warned by her adoptive father, a tolerant Muslim leader, that to seek revenge against Agent Marshall would be to go against the teachings of Islam, widowed bride Leyla is subsequently consumed by her own hunger for vengeance.

In the days that follow, Polat, Memati, and Adbulhey enter into a deadly game of cat and mouse with the psychotic CIA operative that culminates with a violent confrontation in a nearby village.

Plot/Synopsis:

Celal, lives an unhappy family life with his wife Sevilay and his child in a small town. Celal and his brother Cemal, running an electrician shop which doesn’t go well. They are in debt. The only fun they have is going to the night clubs in Samsun. Celal’s love for Sibel Ceylan who works in the night club, will cause him trouble. Celal’s wife, Sevilay, saves her money, sent by her father who lives in Germany. She is unaware of the fact that Celal knows her secret. Living an unhappy life, Celal thinks that this money will be his salvation and makes a plan. He gets an automatic door fixed to his car. He plans to push his wife off the cliff by making it seems like an accident and he plans to possess 75.000 Euros that her wife saves. He carries out his plan but two days after his wife Sevilay comes back unexpectedly. Does she know that the one who pushed her off the cliff was Celal? She can’t find the money that she saved through all those years. She wonders if her husband saw the money? Sevilay’s questions confuse everybody’s minds and causes both Celal and herself to go through many things in their lives.

Plot/Synopsis:
