Plot/Synopsis:
A very fine short film written by Jean-Julien Chervier. It’s a story of a woman who brings her son to a vacation spot at a nudist camp. The boy, played by Marc Beffa, shows he is a lot wiser that most folks would perceive him to be, as he faces a life challenge of knowing the right thing to do when he meets one of the other female tourists at the camp and the two find themselves on a path to a budding romance. The lead female, played by Geraldine Martineau, is nude through most of this film, although Geraldine is indeed an adult so no controversy in that department. Trivia: Geraldine, it is understood, was well into her 20s when she played her role in this film 2009.

But all John wants is to be left alone?

A plump and exuberant monk goes fishing, and a playful fish eludes him. First the monk uses a rod and reel, then a net; over and over, he ends up fish-less and wet. Sleepless, he tries luring the fish at night with a bank of candles. He tries a bow and arrow. The tireless and insouciant fish leads the monk through a viaduct, over irrigated steppes, across cisterns, down canals. Suddenly, the monk’s chase and the fish’s teasing flight become a spiritual journey.

We can have a glimpse on the customer habits of the old days with the help of these commercials made between 1960 and 1990, and delve into a world strangely similar to our own, where the makers used every trick to popularize a product – in the beginning simply just by telling us that we should by a fridge because it keeps the food cool, but then later the humour and music became the main carrier of the message in the ads. Later again popular celebrities started to appear in commercials, and finally they focused on the technical details.
