Plot/Synopsis:
Werner Schroeter’s adaptation of a novel by Ingeborg Bachmann, Isabelle Huppert portrays a writer who suffers from an interminable case of existential angst.
An unusual story of a triangular relationship set in Vienna. A woman shares an apartment with a man named Malina. The woman meets Ivan and falls in love. It will be her last great passion. The singlemindedness of her love is so great that it is more than the man can comprehend or respond to. The film’s subject is nothing less than love- and the loneliness of the lover.

Plot/Synopsis:
Eight years after his wife was brutally murdered, Alexandre Beck receives an e-mail with images of a woman who, although older, is obviously his wife. At the time of her murder, Beck was with her but he too was severely beaten and remained unconscious for several days after the incident. He approaches his father-in-law, a former senior police officer now retired, for more details about his wife’s murder but can get little additional information. It soon becomes apparent to him that he is being followed and when he is framed for murdering a friend, he goes on the run now fighting to save his own life.

Plot/Synopsis:

In Spain, the sports journalist Juan has a perfect life with his wife Sonia: they have just had a baby and moved to an old house that needs to be repaired in a fancy neighborhood. When Juan’s sister and her husband visit the couple, they give them an electronic nanny to monitor the baby’s room. During the night, Juan and Sonia hear voices in the room but they do not find anybody. On the next day, Juan hires an alarm system for the house and a monitor to observe the baby’s room. When Juan sees a man in the room, he gets a knife to protect his son. However, Sonia believes her husband is insane and moves to her mother’s house. Juan investigates the happening with the former journalist Domingo, who explains him the paradoxical experiment Schrodinger’s Cat and the existence of parallel worlds. Further, he advises the obsessed Juan to leave the house otherwise could be trapped in another world.

Plot/Synopsis:
Cult filmmaker Renato Polselli (L’Amante del Vampiro) wrote this tragic softcore melodrama directed by Vincenzo Matassi. Donal O’Brien, best-known for a series of roles in gruesome horror films like La Regina dei Cannibali, stars as a professor who murders his wife and a hooker to be alone in a kinky relationship with his niece. As in most films of this nature, his sinful deeds and urges are punished by the death of another female castmember when the object of his desire dies in an automobile accident. It might be depressing if it wasn’t so ridiculous. Erika Blanc co-stars with Malisa Longo, Gianni Pulone, and Carla Mancini, all of whom have been in far better genre films.

Plot/Synopsis:
Deborah, a wealthy American, and her Italian husband, Marcel, are honeymooning in Geneva when they meet Marcel’s friend Philip, who belligerently informs them that Susan, Marcel’s former fiancée, has committed suicide. The couple stop at Susan’s deserted villa, where Marcel receives a death threat over the telephone. In Nice, he continues to receive menacing phone calls, and Deborah begins taking tranquilizers; one evening she accidentally takes too many and is revived by Robert, an artist who lives in the adjacent villa. Later, Philip attempts to murder her to avenge Susan’s suicide, but Marcel appears, stabs Philip, and buries his body in the garden. The next morning, when Marcel leaves to buy two plane tickets to the United States, Philip and Susan suddenly appear; when the terror-stricken Deborah faints, the couple drug her, slash her wrists to make her death look like suicide, and drive away.
