Plot/Synopsis:

Nora is a stewardess for ATI Airlines. She lands in Naples: a stranger gives her $100 to deliver a letter to Silvera, a brawny thug who has his boys work her over, convinced she’s in league with “Il Americano,” a mysterious underworld figure. Manuel, a young boxer, helps Nora get to her hotel and convinces her to seek police help. Wherever she goes, three rival gangs may be following her: Silvera’s men, a gang led by a guy in a priest’s cassock, and a smooth operator who gives Nora a consultant fee for information. Drugs may be behind the machinations. Is Nora more than an innocent bystander? A fistfight and a car chase bring matters to a head. What about Manuel?

Plot/Synopsis:

Matyoroy is a small village on a beautiful island with the same name. It has been decided that the island shall be flooded and returned to the sea. Plot/Synopsis:

Ivan’s best friend, Kamen, is dying in an American hospital. Since he’s denied a visa to the USA and can’t stay by his side in his last moments, he decides to set off for Bulgaria countryside, taking the camera Kamen has given him. After some time, he writes her a very special letter, telling all about the places and characters he meets on his way, witnesses to a time which is bound to be forgotten.

Plot/Synopsis:

Middle-aged Antonin and his friends, the major, now retired, and the canon, are in the river, swimming and philosophizing. Then it starts to rain. It just seems to be that sort of summer. Plot/Synopsis:
Alf is a perfectly ordinary 12-year old kid. He loves to read comic books and hang out with his younger sister. But he’s also a bit soft-spoken, making him a perfect target for the gang of bullies at his school. Toke, his class’s “fat kid,” has it even worse though. Thanks to some inspiration found in one of his comic books (“Without an ally, I’ll stay small and weak,” says the manga’s hero) Alf teams up with Toke to combat the tormentors head-on. But Toke turns out to be a dangerously apt pupil.

Filmmaker Felix Can Groeningen’s sophomore feature explores the subject of fading youth with this ensemble drama following four twenty-something friends who seem to have found success in life, but still can’t help but feeling melancholy as they reflect on the past.
