Plot/Synopsis:
Svend and Bjarne work for a butcher in a small Danish town. Fed up with their boss’ arrogance, they decide to start their own butcher shop. After dismal beginnings, an unfortunate accident happens which coincides with a large order of meat. One hasty decision leads to another and soon the business thrives. In the meantime, Bjarne has to deal with his twin brother who has been in coma for years following a gruesome car accident.

Plot/Synopsis:
Four rogues, who were best friends as kids, have one big problem: they’re sitting on both sides of the law. Martin is a policeman, while Nikolai, Ralf, and Timo can’t distinguish between personal possessions and the possessions of others! Plot/Synopsis:

In the summer of 1913, 17-year-old Jacob (Ole Soltoft), a Danish high school student, lives in the frustrating limbo between boyhood and manhood. He worries about his excessive focus on masturbation and, although he is aware of the sexual overtures by the housemaid Sophie (Lise Rosendahl), Jacob doesn’t know how to respond to her. Jacob is invited to spend his vacation at the summer house of his wealthy uncle (Ole Monty). At the summer house in an idyllic coastal town, Jacob meets his uncle, aunt (Bodil Steen), free-spirited housemaid Hansigne (Susanne Heinrich), virginal housekeeper Rosegod (Lily Broberg), and his dream-girl cousin Vibeke (Ghita Nørby). He is also pursued by his Uncle’s employee (Ingolf David), who tries to seduce Jacob. While the Uncle is off on a fishing trip and the Aunt spends the night in town with her lover, Jacob has his first sexual experience with Vibeke—an awkward encounter. Afterwards, when Vibeke leaves for school, Jacob spends his nights with Hansigne—a joyful, uncomplicated and liberated woman. She guides him through his awkwardness and teaches him erotic techniques. One night, Hansigne’s boyfriend Knud (Hugo Herrestrup) catches them together and attacks and threatens Jacob. Jacob discovers he finally feels like a man. In great spirits, he returns home after vacation and prepares to accept the advances of Sophie.

Plot/Synopsis:
It’s the last day of school. Christian (19) and his younger sister Sofie are on their way to a party together with their friends. They’ve got to finish studying for their finals, take the tests themselves, and then school’s out for good. The party has come just at the right time, and is just what Christian needs; right up until the point his sister commits suicide in an upstairs bathroom. Exams and graduation completed, Sofie’s unexplained suicide is still affecting everyone concerned, especially Christian, who is convinced that Sofie was trying to tell him something before she killed herself at the party. Plot/Synopsis:
This movie is about the young boy Harald. He lives in a village and the mad king send warriors to confiscate the ships along the coast. Harald’s village don’t want to part with its ship and Harald’s father takes the kings messenger prisoner. Harald’s father is chief of the village and he sails to the rebellion in the north to get help. Unfortunately the messenger escapes and brings a group of warriors to punish the village. Harald’s mother convinces the warriors that the old drunkard of a shipbuilder can make a new ship.

This movie is taking place in a viking-like time. It is not historical correct and does not try to be. It is a serious, dark movie about that happens to people in a country in civil war.

Plot/Synopsis:

The movie is about three fifteen-year-old girls who have been best friends since kindergarten. They learn something in school about rites of passage that are celebrated to show a person’s coming of age. One of the girls, Rebekka, thinks Confirmation doesn’t mean anything and thinks the three of them should make their own ritual. Remember cootie catchers? Rebekka’s friend Claudia happens to have one with her, and the three girls decide to use it on their road to adulthood. They each write a dare on the flaps that they have to take and finish within one week. These dares include “make someone believe you are a hooker”, which has Rebekka on a street corner with a blue wig. Rebekka is the main character, and of her two friends, Claudia seems to be the one with the more interesting life. However you don’t need to have a trained lesbian eye to realize there is something going on between Rebekka’s other friend Sofie and her boss Katrine at the diner where she works. Sofie’s first dare is to French kiss another girl, and she refuses at first, but somehow there is the following screenshot of her and Katrine in a surreal white and blue ball pit.

Veteran experimental filmmaker Jorgen Leth explores the nature of eroticism and his own sensual fantasies and appetites in this personal documentary. In Det Erotiske Menneske (aka Erotic Man), Leth travels around the world as he recreates the same scene: a nude woman lies on a bed in a hotel room, thinking out loud about the man she loves who has gone away.
