Plot/Synopsis:
Desperate to save his marriage, Koen, a judge, reluctantly gives in to fulfilling his wife Magda’s secret desire. At first he’s shocked, but his love for his wife is so strong that he overcomes his own inhibitions and starts to lead a secret life in the city’s S&M sex scene. Plot/Synopsis:

Three ‘Bukowskian’ torrid nights in the life of a man in search of love. Harry Voss, 12, is young and naive. Love, for him, is romantic love between princes and princesses demurely kissing each other on the mouth. His father is a hero who kidnapped his mother and married her on a lonely mountain peak… Later on, he’ll do the same. But Harry has a lot to learn. He also learns that there are handsome men and ugly ones, that love can be unfair. If you like the title of this Belgian production, you’ll love its source, a story by Charles Bukowski titled The Copulating Mermaid of Venice, Calif. Actually the film draws material from three different Bukowski stories to outline three crucial stages in a man’s life. The hero begins as a 12-year old naif, “develops” into a miserable pimply adolescent who yearns for the girls who laugh in his face, and “matures” into an alcoholic, drug-addicted bum with a predilection for necrophilia. Amazingly, the material is handled with subtlety and sensitivity – the trick is to get through the film’s first painful moments. The episodic nature of Love is a Dog From Hell is due to the fact that the film began as a 30-minute short subject, then was expanded into a feature when a distributor evinced interest. Plot/Synopsis:

What started as a crazy wager between friends, ended up as a full movie, created and acted by the whole population of the friendly Flemish village of Schellebelle. The renowned actor Heldenbergh (who lives in that village) wrote the scenario and directed, together with the mayor K. Taylor, who happens to be a professional director. The movie tells the story of the farming family Van de Velde, in the aftermath of the First World War. The farmer and his son who have fought in the trenches of the Yser, are still missing in 1919, and the mother has died so the eldest daughter Coralie runs the farm now on her own. She has welcomed 25 orphans during the war, but the Child Welfare Commission wants to put them in an orphanage. And some local notables with a sneaky plan want to take possession of the farm. But Coralie and the orphans fight back.

Plot/Synopsis:
Cyril, 11 years old, has been left in children’s home, for what he has been told is temporary, and sets out to find his father who left him there. He cannot believe his father moved away from their apartment without telling him, and that even his bike is missing. By chance he meets the hairdresser Samantha, who buys his bike back from someone who had it in his possession and claimed he had bought it from the father, and gives it back to Cyril. At his request she allows him to live with her on weekends. Cyril does not believe his father sold his bike, he thinks it must have been stolen from him, but then he sees an advertisement his father posted for it, and is devastated. Together Samantha and Cyril find the father, but he does not want Cyril anymore.
