Plot/Synopsis:

In order to become the owner of a snack bar with her boyfriend, Lorna, a young Albanian woman living in Belgium, becomes an accomplice to a diabolical plan devised by mobster Fabio. Fabio has orchestrated a sham marriage between her and Claudy. The marriage allows her to obtain Belgian citizenship and then marry a Russian Mafioso willing to pay a lot of money to acquire the same quickly. Plot/Synopsis:

Animated plastic toys like Cowboy, Indian and Horse have problems, too. Cowboy and Indian’s plan to surprise Horse with a homemade birthday gift backfires when they destroy his house instead. Plot/Synopsis:

Based on a novel by celebrated Flemish crime writer Jef Geeraerts, MEMORY OF A KILLER concerns aging but ruthless hit man Angelo Ledda (Jan Decleir, CHARACTER), who is succumbing to the ravages of Alzheimer’s, but agrees to pull off one final job. Ledda arrives in Belgium with two targets on his list, and has no problem wiping out the first victim, who happens to be a government official. But when he discovers that the other is a 12-year-old girl, he refuses to complete the mission. Ledda’s boss, Gilles (Patrick Descamps), finishes the job and attempts to kill Ledda as well, but the ailing hitman executes Gilles first. Slick young detectives Vincke (Koen De Bouw) and Verstuyft (Werner De Smedt) are assigned to the case, but it gets more difficult to unravel as Ledda goes on a rampage, taking out everyone connected to the botched job. His affliction makes him even more of a loose cannon, taking him to the heart of a web of corruption.

MEMORY OF A KILLER was a huge box office success in its native Belgium and was also that country’s submission for the Best Foreign Film Oscar in 2004. These distinctions are well deserved, and the film is as slick and accomplished as any Hollywood effort. High-tech and violent, director Eric Van Looy’s movie garners an impressively edgy performance from Decleir.

Plot/Synopsis:

In Ostend three handicapped musicians are looking for a drummer for their band, consisting entirely of disabled people. They want to perform only one time at a music competition. They want famous writer Dries to be their drummer and his handicap is the fact that he cannot play the drums. They only plan on mastering one song; Devo’s "Mongoloid."

For Dries this is an opportunity to get some inspiration for a new novel and he accepts the offer. The band members decide to call the band The Feminists, because four handicapped musicians are just as worthless as a group of feminists. In the contest they have to compete against the band Harry Mulisch, also led by a writer with the nickname Dikke Lul (fat cock in english).

As the story goes on Dries becomes more and more obsessed by his new novel and he tries to manipulate the band members and tries to find their weak spot.

Plot/Synopsis:

A teenage girl attempting to gather the materials for a book her father had been writing at the time of his death becomes trapped in an abandoned mine and forced to do battle with the malevolent entity on which the tome was based in director Frank van Geloven’s demonic slasher flick.
Kristel was arguing with her father during a late night drive when tragedy struck. Now saddled with the knowledge that her late father was one the verge of finishing a book about an early-19th Century child killer who had made a deal with the devil in exchange for the ability to move in and out of hell, Kristel and a group of friends travel to the mine shaft where her father had been doing research in order to retrieve his personal belongings. After arriving at the site and gathering her father’s materials, Kristel and company are persuaded to venture 200 feet underground in order to take a guided tour of the mine. During the tour, it’s revealed that during the time that the mine was in operation condemned convicts were offered the opportunity to avoid the hangman’s noose by testing the shaft for deadly methane gas; if the criminal survived the excursion they were subsequently granted complete immunity for their crimes.
The maniac behind those horrific child murderers had taken such a gamble after being given that option, and by all accounts perished in the subsequent explosion. When the tour is over and the elevator to the surface fails, the group playfully attempts to kill some time by communicating with the dead via the ouija board that belonged to Kristel’s father. Unfortunately for all involved, the spiritualistic apparatus opens a portal through which the demonic spirit of the child killer passes, immediately possessing one of the teens and driving her on a murderous rampage. Now, as the rest of the trapped tourists attempt to make the way through the underground maze and to the perceived safety of the surface, a supernatural killer leaps from body to body in a bloody attempt to locate a mysterious treasure while collecting as many severed heads as possible.
