Plot/Synopsis:

A housing development on the outskirts of a big city, common, ubiquitous – high-rise apartment complexes, lots of concrete, sparse plots of perfunctory green. Graffiti-scrawled entryways, intercoms, long stairwells, thousands of faceless windows. Plot/Synopsis:

This Life Is Yours is about a young promising pianist who is confined to a wheelchair after he was struck by a car. His hopes and dreams destroyed, he falls into a deep depression, from which not even his parents and girlfriend can free him. When he tries to commit suicide, Roderick, who also sits in a wheelchair, saves him. These two unlikely men develop a meaningful friendship.

Plot/Synopsis:
Powerful themes of betrayal, friendship, ambition and trust are at the centre of Benjamin Heisenberg’s debut feature, which plays like the intriguing and unsettling calm before the storm. Set at Munich’s University of Technology, assistant professor Johannes Mehrveldt befriends Farid Atabay, a colleague of Algerian background who is working on the same project. What his pal does not know is that Johannes was approached by the German secret service to report on Farid, who they suspect is a sleeper terrorist. Plot/Synopsis:
